Description
Advil Cold and Sinus 20 Tablets deliver fast, non-drowsy relief from the toughest cold, flu, and sinus symptoms. This combination medicine pairs ibuprofen, a proven pain reliever and fever reducer, with pseudoephedrine, a powerful decongestant, to ease sinus congestion, headache, fever, sore throat, and body aches in one tablet. It is an over-the-counter option for adults and children aged 12 and over seeking effective day-to-day cold and sinus relief.
How It Works
Sinus pressure is often caused by inflammation and swelling of the tissues in the nose, which narrows the airways. Advil Cold and Sinus works on two fronts: pseudoephedrine opens blocked nasal passages by reducing that swelling, while ibuprofen targets the pain and fever that come with a cold or the flu, so you feel relief from congestion and discomfort together.
Important Information
• Do not use if you are allergic to ibuprofen, pseudoephedrine, aspirin, or other NSAIDs.
• Do not use with, or within 14 days of, a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), as this may cause a dangerous rise in blood pressure.
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid problems, kidney or liver problems, asthma, or a history of stomach ulcers or bleeding.
• As an NSAID, ibuprofen may cause stomach bleeding or raise the risk of heart problems; avoid alcohol and do not combine with other NSAIDs or cold medicines containing the same ingredients.
• This product is non-drowsy but may cause difficulty sleeping; take the last dose earlier in the day if needed.
• Consult your healthcare provider before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding; ibuprofen should be avoided from 20 weeks of pregnancy unless directed by a doctor.
• Stop use and consult your doctor if symptoms persist, fever lasts more than 3 days, or congestion lasts more than 7 days. Keep out of reach of children.
Ingredients
• Ibuprofen 200 mg: a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that relieves headache, fever, sore throat, and minor aches and pains.
• Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride 30 mg: a decongestant that relieves blocked noses and sinuses by easing the swelling behind nasal and sinus congestion.
Together these two actives provide non-drowsy, multi-symptom relief, which is why Advil Cold and Sinus has been a trusted choice for cold and sinus care for years.
