Amydramine Expectorant Syrup is commonly used to get relief from a productive cough that is caused by flu, cold, or any allergies. It works by loosening and thinning mucus in the airways and makes it easier to expel it through coughing. The active ingredients used in this syrup are diphenhydramine hydrochloride, ammonium chloride, and sodium citrate.  For adults, the advised dosage is 10ml 3-4 times a day however for children below 12 should be 5ml 3-4 times per day.
