Why Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water Works

Micelles are microscopic cleansing droplets whose structure is modelled on the lipids in the skin's own cell membranes. Their oil-attracting tails face inward and their water-attracting heads face outward, so when a soaked cotton pad passes over the skin the micelles trap makeup and grime and lift it away with the pad. Because they are compatible with the skin's own lipids, they do this without dissolving the protective hydrolipidic film underneath. That is the whole reason no rinsing is needed and no tight, squeaky feeling is left behind.

1. Soak a cotton pad with Sensibio H2O. Do not over-saturate it if you are working near the eyes.

2. Press the pad onto the skin and lift, rather than dragging or rubbing. For eye makeup, hold the pad against the closed lid for a few seconds first to loosen it.3. Repeat with a fresh pad until the pad comes away clean.
