Description
Compound W Maximum Strength Fast Acting Gel is a salicylic acid wart remover that treats common and plantar warts with the strongest salicylic acid formula available without a prescription. The no-drip gel is applied directly to the wart, where it works to soften and gradually peel away the affected tissue over a course of treatment. Supplied in a convenient 7g tube, it offers a simple, at-home option for removing stubborn warts on the hands and feet.
How It Works
Warts are caused by a virus that thickens the outer layer of skin. The salicylic acid in Compound W Fast Acting Gel is a keratolytic agent, which means it softens and breaks down this hardened skin so that the wart tissue gradually loosens and peels away with repeated use. Because the gel is a no-drip formula, it stays where it is applied and targets the wart while limiting contact with the surrounding healthy skin. Visible results typically build over several weeks of consistent daily treatment rather than overnight.
