Concor 5 Plus is a fixed-dose combination medication containing Bisoprolol Fumarate (a cardio-selective beta-blocker) and Hydrochlorothiazide (a thiazide diuretic). It provides physiological support for the management of hypertension in cases where single-agent therapy is insufficient, utilizing both a reduction in cardiac output and a decrease in fluid volume to lower blood pressure.

Dosage & Administration

• Dosage: 1 tablet (5mg/12.5mg) per administration.
• Frequency: Once daily.
• Method: Administer orally with 200ml of water. The tablet should be swallowed whole.
• Timing: Administer in the morning. It can be taken with or without food.
• Consistency: Morning administration is recommended to avoid nocturnal diuresis (increased nighttime urination) caused by the diuretic component.
