How It Works
MPFF works through several complementary actions on the venous and microcirculatory systems. It increases venous tone, helping veins return blood to the heart more efficiently and reducing the venous stasis behind heavy, aching legs. It improves lymphatic drainage and reduces capillary hyperpermeability, easing the fluid leakage that causes ankle and leg swelling. It also dampens the leukocyte-endothelium inflammatory cascade that drives chronic venous disease and hemorrhoidal flares, providing relief from pain, bleeding, and discomfort.
Important Information
• Always consult a healthcare provider before starting Daflon 500mg, particularly if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, breastfeeding, taking other prescription medicines, or treating an acute hemorrhoidal flare that has not improved within 7 to 15 days
• Daflon is a complement to, not a substitute for, lifestyle measures in chronic venous disease (compression stockings, walking, weight management, leg elevation) and for other proctological treatments in hemorrhoidal disease
• Generally well tolerated. Most common side effects are mild and transient, including digestive upset (nausea, diarrhea, indigestion), mild headache, and occasional skin reactions; stop use and seek medical advice if these are severe or persistent

1. Chronic venous disease (heavy legs, leg pain, swelling): take 2 tablets daily, one at midday and one in the evening, both with meals.
2. Acute hemorrhoidal attack: take 6 tablets daily for the first 4 days, then 4 tablets daily for the next 3 days, divided over the course of the day with meals.
3. Chronic or recurring hemorrhoids: continue at 2 tablets daily for up to 2 months. For use beyond 2 months, consult a doctor.
4. Swallow each tablet whole with water. Do not crush, chew, or break the film coating.
5. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is close to the next dose, in which case skip the missed dose and continue as normal. Do not double up.
