EllaOne 30mg is an emergency contraceptive tablet used to help prevent pregnancy after unprotected intercourse or contraceptive failure. It contains ulipristal acetate, a selective progesterone receptor modulator that works by delaying ovulation. It is most effective when taken as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours, but can be used up to 120 hours (5 days) after the event.
