Foster Nexthaler is a fixed-dose combination therapy delivered via a dry powder inhaler (DPI). It contains an inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) and a long-acting beta-agonist (LABA). This formulation is physiologically indicated for the regular treatment of asthma in adults where use of a combination product is appropriate, and for the symptomatic treatment of patients with severe COPD.

Dosage & Administration

• Dosage: 1 inhalation per administration (unless otherwise directed by a physician).
• Frequency: Twice daily (morning and evening).
• Method: This is a breath-actuated device.
• 1. Open the cover (you will hear a 'click').
  2. Exhale fully (away from the inhaler).
  3. Place the mouthpiece in the mouth and inhale forcefully and deeply.
  4. Hold your breath for 5–10 seconds.
• Post-Inhalation: Always rinse your mouth with water and spit it out after use to reduce the risk of oropharyngeal candidiasis (thrush).
• Dose Counter: The window on the device tracks the remaining doses; it counts down only when a full inhalation is detected.

Safety & Storage

• Storage: Store in the original package at room temperature (below 25°C) to protect from moisture. After opening the foil pouch, the device should be used within 6 months.
