Glucovance 1000mg/5mg is a high-strength, fixed-dose combination antihyperglycemic agent containing Metformin Hydrochloride and Glibenclamide. It provides physiological support for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus by decreasing hepatic glucose production and stimulating endogenous insulin secretion from pancreatic beta cells.

Dosage & Administration

• Dosage: 1 tablet (1000mg/5mg) per administration.
• Frequency: Once or twice daily, as determined by glycemic response.
• Method: Administer orally with 200ml of water. Swallow the tablet whole; do not crush or chew.
• Timing: Administer with meals to optimize pharmacological absorption and minimize the risk of hypoglycemia and gastrointestinal distress.
• Maximum Dose: Do not exceed a total daily intake of 2000mg/20mg.
