Janumet XR is a fixed-dose combination therapy containing Sitagliptin and Metformin Hydrochloride Extended-Release. Dosage & Administration

• 1 to 2 tablets per day, depending on the specific prescription regimen.

• Black Box Warning: Risk of Lactic Acidosis—a rare but serious metabolic complication associated with Metformin accumulation. Discontinue use before any radiologic study involving iodinated contrast.
