Lejam 30mg contains Dapoxetine, a short-acting selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). It is the standard starting dose for the treatment of premature ejaculation (PE) in adult men. It provides physiological support by modulating the neurotransmitters involved in the ejaculatory reflex, helping to improve control and extend the time before ejaculation.

Dosage & Administration

• Starting Dosage: 1 tablet (30mg) per administration.
• Frequency: Once daily (maximum). Do not take more than one dose in 24 hours.
• Method: Administer orally with a full glass of water (200ml). Swallow the tablet whole to avoid its bitter taste.
• Timing: Administer 1 to 3 hours prior to anticipated sexual activity.
• Consistency: Can be taken with or without food. If the 30mg dose is insufficient and well-tolerated, a physician may increase the dose to 60mg.

Safety & Storage

• Contraindications: Contraindicated in patients with moderate to severe hepatic impairment and those with significant heart conditions (such as heart failure or heart block without a pacemaker).
• Drug Interactions: Do not use in combination with MAOIs, thioridazine, lithium, or other SSRIs/SNRIs. A washout period of 14 days is required when switching between these medications.
• Storage: Store at controlled room temperature below 30°C. Keep in original packaging to protect from moisture.
• Warning: Use with caution if you have a history of fainting (syncope) or low blood pressure. It is highly recommended to avoid alcohol while taking Lejam, as it can increase the risk of dizziness or fainting.
