Lotemax is a suspension of eye drops.

After surgery, lotemax is used to alleviate ocular inflammation.

The eye may occasionally become irritated (red and uncomfortable). One drug in the class of medications known as corticosteroids is loteprednol etabonate. It works by lessening the symptoms and inflammation. Its action is limited to one location because it is applied in small amounts right where it is needed.
