Nicotinell TTS 20 Transdermal Patches deliver a controlled dose of 14mg nicotine over 24 hours, providing steady relief from cravings and withdrawal symptoms for adults committed to quitting smoking. Developed by Haleon (formerly GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare), this nicotine replacement therapy patch is classified as Step 2 in the Nicotinell step-down program - suitable for smokers who consume fewer than 20 cigarettes per day or those stepping down from the higher-strength TTS 30 patch.
How Nicotinell TTS 20 Patches Work
Each patch contains 35mg of S(-)-nicotine within a round, flat, matrix-type transdermal therapeutic system with a 20 cm2 drug-releasing surface. Once applied to the skin, nicotine absorbs continuously at a steady rate throughout the day and night. This consistent delivery helps manage morning cravings that often trigger relapse and reduces withdrawal symptoms such as irritability, difficulty concentrating, restlessness, and increased appetite.
Important Information
Consult your healthcare provider before using Nicotinell TTS 20 if you have recently experienced a heart attack, have unstable angina, severe heart rhythm problems, or uncontrolled high blood pressure. This product is not intended for non-smokers or occasional smokers. Do not smoke while wearing the patch. Keep all used and unused patches out of the reach of children, as nicotine can be toxic in small doses. Common side effects include mild skin irritation, redness, and itching at the application site. If you experience severe skin reactions or allergic symptoms such as swelling or difficulty breathing, remove the patch and seek medical advice immediately.
Nicotinell TTS 20 Transdermal Patches are available in packs of 7 at MedX Pharmacy with delivery across the UAE. Nicotine replacement therapy, when combined with behavioural support, can double your chances of quitting smoking for good.
