Description
Novalac Aminova Milk Powder 400g is an amino acid-based infant formula for the dietary management of severe cow's milk protein allergy and multiple food allergies in babies and young children from birth to 3 years. Built on free amino acids rather than intact milk protein, this hypoallergenic formula is a food for special medical purposes intended for use under medical supervision when breastfeeding is not possible.
Why Novalac Aminova Works
When extensively hydrolysed formulas are not tolerated, an amino acid-based formula is the next step. Because Novalac Aminova uses free amino acids, it contains no intact cow's milk protein, helping reduce the allergic response while still providing complete, balanced nutrition for healthy growth and development.
Safety Information
Breastfeeding is best for babies, and Novalac Aminova should only be used on the advice of a doctor or healthcare professional. It is suitable as the sole source of nutrition up to 6 months, and alongside complementary foods thereafter on medical advice. Do not give it in cases of galactosaemia or glucose-galactose malabsorption. The taste, smell and appearance may differ from standard formula, and softer or greenish stools can occur without discomfort. Always consult your healthcare provider before changing your baby's formula.
