SEROFLO 250mcg Inhaler 120 Doses is a twice-daily controller inhaler that helps manage asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) over the long term. Made by Cipla, each metered dose delivers a combination of fluticasone propionate 250mcg and salmeterol 25mcg to ease wheezing, breathlessness, chest tightness and persistent cough. This 120-dose HFA inhaler is intended for regular, preventive use in adults and adolescents.

How It Works

SEROFLO works by combining two complementary actions in a single inhaler. Fluticasone propionate is an inhaled corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and swelling inside the airways, while salmeterol is a long-acting bronchodilator that relaxes the airway muscles to keep them open. Together they improve airflow and help prevent symptoms, rather than relieving a sudden attack.

Important Information

SEROFLO is a controller, not a rescue inhaler, and does not relieve a sudden asthma attack; always keep a fast-acting reliever inhaler for emergencies. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have diabetes, heart problems, high blood pressure, thyroid disorders or tuberculosis. This product contains a corticosteroid and milk-derived ingredients, so it is not suitable if you have a severe milk-protein allergy. Always consult your healthcare provider or pharmacist before use, store below 25 degrees C away from heat, and keep out of reach of children.

Each metered dose of this combination inhaler contains two clinically established actives:

• Fluticasone propionate 250mcg: an inhaled corticosteroid that calms airway inflammation.

• Salmeterol 25mcg: a long-acting beta-2 bronchodilator that relaxes and opens the airways.

• Delivered as an HFA metered-dose inhaler providing 120 doses per canister.

SEROFLO is a prescription medicine and should be used exactly as directed by your doctor. For adults and adolescents 12 years and over, the usual maintenance dose is two inhalations twice a day, morning and evening. Do not increase the dose or stop treatment suddenly without medical advice, even if you feel better.

1. Shake the inhaler well before each use.

2. Breathe out gently, then inhale slowly and deeply while pressing the canister.

3. Hold your breath for about 10 seconds, then breathe out slowly.

4. Rinse your mouth with water after inhaling to reduce the risk of oral thrush and hoarseness.
