Description
St Dalfour Gluta Sunscreen Original Cream is a daily face sunscreen built around mineral UV filters and skin-conditioning antioxidants, made for people managing uneven tone and dark spots in the strong Gulf sun. It combines zinc oxide and titanium dioxide for physical UV defence with glutathione, vitamin C and vitamin E, in a cream texture designed for everyday wear under makeup. Consistent daily sun protection is the single most important step in any hyperpigmentation routine, because unprotected UV exposure is what drives existing dark spots to darken further.
Why Daily Sun Protection Matters for Dark Spots
Pigmentation is triggered and worsened by UV exposure. Mineral filters like zinc oxide and titanium dioxide sit on the skin surface and physically deflect UV rays, which is why they are often preferred for reactive or sensitive skin. Applied properly and reapplied through the day, a sunscreen protects the results of any brightening routine you are already following. This formula is also free from oxybenzone and octinoxate.
Who It's For & Precautions
This is a daily face sunscreen suitable for most skin types, including those concerned with dark spots and uneven tone. Patch test on a small area before first full use. Discontinue if irritation occurs. If you are treating melasma, persistent hyperpigmentation, or any skin condition, consult a dermatologist or healthcare provider, as a cosmetic product is not a substitute for clinical assessment. Keep out of reach of children and avoid contact with the eyes.
Ingredients
Ingredients listed by the manufacturer and its distributors. Note that a full INCI declaration was not available from an authoritative source at the time of writing, so this list is indicative and requires verification against the physical pack before publication.
• Mineral UV filters: Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide
• Antioxidants: Glutathione, Vitamin C, Vitamin E (Tocopheryl Acetate), Coenzyme Q10
• Conditioning agents: Aloe Vera Gel, Glycerin, Coconut Oil, Carrot Oil, Collagen
• Formulated without oxybenzone and octinoxate
Note on glutathione: it is included here as an antioxidant. Evidence for topical glutathione changing skin tone is limited, and no skin-lightening outcome should be expected or inferred from its presence.
How to Use
Apply as the final step of your morning routine, before makeup:
1. Cleanse and dry the face, then apply any serums or moisturiser and let them absorb.
2. Apply an even, generous layer to the face and any exposed skin about 15 minutes before sun exposure. Using too little significantly reduces the protection you actually get.
3. Reapply at least every 2 hours, and immediately after sweating, swimming, or towel drying.
