Xarelto 20mg contains Rivaroxaban, a highly selective, direct Factor Xa inhibitor indicated for the prevention of stroke and systemic embolism in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation. It provides physiological support by interrupting the intrinsic and extrinsic pathways of the blood coagulation cascade, thereby inhibiting thrombin formation and the development of thrombi.

Dosage & Administration

• Dosage: 1 tablet (20mg) per administration.
• Frequency: Once daily.
• Method: Administer orally with 200ml of water. Swallow the tablet whole. For patients with swallowing difficulties, the tablet may be crushed and mixed with water or apple puree immediately prior to administration.
• Timing: Administer with food to ensure maximum pharmacological absorption and bioavailability (bioavailability of the 20mg dose is significantly increased when taken with a meal).
• Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, administer immediately and continue the following day with the once-daily intake as recommended.

• Storage: Store at controlled room temperature below 30°C. Keep tablets in the original blister pack to protect from environmental moisture.
