Yaz is a prescription oral contraceptive pill that contains a combination of two active ingredients: drospirenone (a synthetic progestin) and ethinylestradiol (a synthetic estrogen). This combination works to prevent ovulation, thicken cervical mucus, and alter the uterine lining to prevent pregnancy. Yaz is also used to treat moderate acne in women who are at least 14 years old and wish to use an oral contraceptive, as well as to treat premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD).

How to Use
