Cationorm Ophthalmic Emulsion is a sterile-hypotonic unpreserved eye drop emulsion in the form of a milky liquid that hydrates, lubricates, and protects the ocular surface. It is used to relieve dry eye symptoms such as stinging, itching, or burning eyes, as well as foreign body sensations. It lowers eye discomfort caused by smoke, wind, or prolonged sun exposure, as well as eye tiredness caused by short durations of reading, light sensitivity, or long hours of computer screen use. It can be used with contact lenses to alleviate eye burning or discomfort. It repairs tear film, lowers tear evaporation, and acts as a lubricant, moisturizer, and protectant. Cationorm is an emulsion composed of an aqueous and an oily phase.
