Maxigesic PE Tablets 20s deliver triple-action relief from cold, flu and sinus symptoms in a single tablet, combining paracetamol, ibuprofen and the nasal decongestant phenylephrine. Developed in New Zealand by AFT Pharmaceuticals, this patented formula targets headache, fever, body aches, sore throat and blocked nose together, making it a convenient choice for adults managing multiple symptoms at once.
How It Works
Maxigesic PE works on three fronts at the same time. Paracetamol blocks pain signals reaching the brain and helps reduce fever, while ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), eases pain and calms inflammation such as swelling and soreness. Phenylephrine acts as a decongestant, reducing swelling in the nasal lining and helping clear a blocked or runny nose so you can breathe more easily.
Important Information
Not suitable for children under 12 years. Do not use if you have a stomach ulcer, active gastrointestinal bleeding, severe liver disease, or if you are allergic to aspirin, ibuprofen, paracetamol or other anti-inflammatory medicines. Avoid during the last three months of pregnancy and while trying to conceive. Do not combine with other products containing paracetamol, ibuprofen or aspirin, and avoid alcohol while taking this medicine, as this raises the risk of liver and stomach side effects. If you are aged 65 or over, have asthma, kidney problems, high blood pressure or are taking other regular medicines such as blood thinners or blood-pressure treatments, consult your healthcare provider before use. Stop taking it and seek medical advice immediately if you notice a skin rash, blisters or other signs of an allergic reaction. Store below 30 degrees C in the original packaging. Always read the label, use only as directed, and consult a pharmacist or doctor if symptoms persist or worsen.
