Mounjaro KwikPen 15mg/0.6ml (tirzepatide) is a prescription-only, once-weekly subcutaneous injection used to help manage blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes. Each pre-filled KwikPen delivers four fixed weekly doses at the 15mg maintenance strength. Prescription and Administration
Mounjaro is a prescription-only medicine. Your doctor will confirm whether it is right for you, determine your correct dose and titration schedule, and your pharmacist or prescriber will show you how to use the KwikPen safely. Do not start, change or self-adjust your dose without medical guidance. Mounjaro requires refrigerated (cold-chain) storage, so follow the storage instructions provided with your medicine.
Important Safety Information
Mounjaro carries important warnings. Discuss your full medical history with your doctor before use.
• Boxed warning: tirzepatide caused thyroid C-cell tumors in animal studies. It is contraindicated if you or a family member have a history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).
• Do not use if you have had a serious allergic reaction to tirzepatide or any ingredient in Mounjaro.
• Tell your doctor about a history of pancreatitis; stop use and seek care for severe, persistent stomach pain.
• Common side effects include nausea, diarrhoea, reduced appetite, vomiting and constipation, especially when starting or increasing the dose.
• If you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding, speak to your healthcare provider first.

Tirzepatide. One ml of solution contains 25 mg of tirzepatide; each pre-filled KwikPen contains four 15 mg doses (0.6 ml per dose). The pen is a single-patient-use device and must not be shared, even if the needle is changed.
