Solaray Cat's Claw is also known as Una de Gato and is named for the sharp, curved thorns found on its stem. Solaray only uses the inner bark portion of the vine which contains a concentrated and more potent extract.
Cat's Claw can grow up to 30 metres high on moist, shady soils in natural, tropical rainforests. It is described as a tropical climbing plant with sharp, curved thorns. It is particularly exciting that each plant naturally contains a certain proportion of oxindole alkaloids.
